All newly published ads on HongCars.com are subject to review and approval by our Customer Service team.

Verified Dealers may be exempt from the ad approval process when publishing new listings. Dealers who are interested in becoming verified can contact us to apply for verification. Once successfully verified, new ads can be published without going through the standard approval process.

Under normal circumstances, newly submitted ads will be reviewed within 48 hours.

If your ad has not been approved after 48 hours, or its status is shown as “Rejected”, please check whether the content falls under any of the following circumstances:

1. False, misleading or non-local information

The information provided is false or misleading, the vehicle or other advertised item is not located in Hong Kong, or the content may violate applicable laws or regulations in Hong Kong.

2. Left-hand drive vehicles

Used vehicles advertised in Hong Kong are generally required to be right-hand drive. Unless there is a valid reason, advertisements for left-hand drive vehicles will normally not be approved.

For special-purpose vehicles, engineering vehicles or other exceptional cases, please provide a detailed explanation in the Remarks section of your ad.

3. No images uploaded

Each ad must include at least one image. Whether you are listing a used vehicle or a parking space, ads without any uploaded images will generally not be approved.

4. Images do not match the advertisement

The uploaded images do not correspond with the information provided in the ad, including vehicle details, location information or other relevant content.

5. Fraudulent or inappropriate content

The content may involve fraud, false or misleading representations, or contain information that is inappropriate for public display.
